The "Pride Press" Summer Newsletter and Packet containing all necessary band information concerning camp, housing, the performance schedule, and other misc. information is in the process of being mailed to all band members.  These are being mailed to everyone's HOME (parents') address.  If you (or your parents) have not received this packet by July 3rd, please contact our office.

PLEASE NOTE!!  This packet contains several forms that need to be completed and returned by July 17.  These include a band camp housing reservation form, a camp transportation form, a uniform size card for new members, and an "are-you-coming-back" and uniform reservation card for all returning vets.  Also included in the packet are order forms for band ball caps to wear in the stands, band shoes, and "Band Warehouse" - the only place you can buy official "Pride of West Virginia" merchandise.  IF YOU LOSE YOUR PACKET - All of these forms are available on the web site EXCEPT the UNIFORM CARD for new members and the RETURNING VET/UNIFORM RESERVATION CARD FOR VETS.  You will need to contact the Band Office if you lose your Uniform Card or Returning Vet Card.

PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE AND FILL OUT THE UNIFORM OR RETURNING VET CARD IN YOUR PACKET AND PUT IT IN THE MAIL BEFORE JULY 17TH!  THANKS!!

Due to a record number of returning band members and talented new auditionees, the 2009 WVU Marching Band is currently over capacity!

The 2009 marching band season projected schedule has been released.

During the summer, you will have the opportunity to begin scheduling your classes for the Fall Semester, either by meeting with advisors at New Student Orientation, which begins in early June, or you may receive directions/assistance from faculty members or advisors within your major area. When you begin to create your schedule, before you start, tell your advisor to make sure to include "Marching Band: Music 100D."  All members MUST be registered for Marching Band as a class.
