Attention All New 2010 Marching Band Members!

During the summer, you will have the opportunity to begin scheduling your classes for the Fall Semester, either by meeting with advisors at New Student Orientation, which begins in early June, or you may receive directions/assistance from faculty members or advisors within your major area. When you begin to create your schedule, before you start, tell your advisor to make sure to include "Marching Band: Music 100D."????All members MUST be registered for Marching Band as a class.

**Please make sure not to schedule any other courses during band time.**

**PLEASE NOTE: Undoubtedly, you will run into some scheduling conflicts. DO NOT PANIC! There will be certain classes which may conflict, but most courses will have more than one section available. This should allow you to pick classes that will not overlap into band time. Only required courses within your major that are not offered at any other time are 100% acceptable conflicts.

There will be certain unavoidable occasions that a class might overlap into part of band time.?? We can usually work around this if there are no other options for your schedule.?? If you do have a time conflict that will not allow you to schedule band because another class overlaps into band time, please let us know so we can help you to get around this problem and schedule both classes simultaneously.

**Please let us know if you are having difficulties with your schedule! In almost every case, we can find a way to work out the conflicts you may run into! Don???t worry - and don???t drop band!?? We want to help you do everything you need to be successful in the classroom and on the field!
