WVU band to perform in Eastern Panhandle en route to Maryland

MarylandThe West Virginia University Marching Band will be travelling to College Park, MD as the Mountaineers take on the Maryland Terrapins. On the way the band will perform at two West Virginia high schools in the Eastern Panhandle.

On Friday afternoon, the band will perform at Frankfort High School in Ridgely, WV (1:30 p.m. - updated), and then travel to Musselman High School in Inwood, WV for an early evening show (approx. 6:00 p.m.).

First the band will perform at Frankfort High School Stadium (Directions to Frankfort High School) in Ridgely, WV at approximately 1 p.m. Students from Frankfort High and Frankfort Middle, as well as music students from Keyser Middle, Hampshire High and Mountain Ridge High will be present for what will be a spectacular performance!

Gates at Frankfort Stadium will be open to the public after all students have been seated. In the event of rain, the performance will be moved to the gymnasium; unfortunately, due to limited seating, only FHS students will be permitted in the gym.

At the WVU/Maryland Game on Saturday we will be doing a combined performance with the University of Maryland Marching Band to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner.
