WVU Band Welcomes New Program Assistant

WVU Band welcomes new Program Assistant, Brad Luna. A native of Dallas, TX, Brad holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Trumpet Performance from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Music degree in Trumpet Performance from Carnegie Mellon University. He joins WVU after having spent the last three years teaching a private studio in Dallas and performing as a free-lance musician. During that time, Brad spent four summers on the music staff at CAMP-of-the-WOODS, a Christian family resort and conference center in Speculator, NY, where he also served as Music Office Manager in addition to performing in the orchestra.

As a performer, Brad has performed with orchestras in Lubbock (TX), Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Houston, Florida, Pittsburgh, and performs regularly with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Brad is an avid sports fan and enjoys working out, biking, hiking, playing baseball and football, and eating chocolate chip cookies.
